The goal of this project is to investigate whether political attacks and stereotypes influence the impression of women candidates and the support of the voters for them. Gender stereotypes often influence the assessment of women, who are believed to be weaker than men on some dimensions and stronger on others. Political attacks on one dimension rather than another can affect policies, influencing the assessment of them.
