This project investigates the choice to vote as a choice that involves a series of psychological factors: cognitive, value-based, motivational, and psychosocial factors. Thanks to the analysis of data on large and representative samples of the population, we evaluate the weight that the various factors have on the vote, comparing the choice of different categories of voters.
The project has been funded by the Catholic University of Milan and is developed in collaboration with the ITANES (Italian National Election Studies) group
